I live in Weston, CT with my wife (Lorin) and three children (Evan, Bari and Nicole). Like my partner, I grew up on Long Island (Roslyn), went to Michigan and was a “Sammy” Fraternity brother. Before entering the car business, I was a derivatives trader in Manhattan for ten years. What is a derivative? If you have to ask, you really don’t need to know. But you can e-mail me and I’ll be happy to explain it to you.
I live in Weston, CT with my wife, Eilene, two beautiful daughters, Devon and Alex, and a wonderful son, Reid. I grew up in Syosset, NY and received my Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) and my MBA degree from New York University. Since 1987, I’ve been a Salesperson, Service Advisor, General Manager and now Owner. Which is the hardest job? Let me put it to you this way, “Be nice to your Service Advisor.”
I have been with Acura since 1998 and Devan Acura since May of 2012 . My family and I live in Redding, CT but lived most of my life in upstate NY / Saratoga Springs area. I have worked for Acura both corporately and retail and I’m not sure which I prefer but found a home working for Marc & Jonathan in January 2014 and was given the honor of becoming their General Manager.
I have been with Devan Acura since 1998 and I guess you can say it’s become my second home. Having grown up in Port Chester, NY, I am still very close to my roots and am fortunate to have my family and life friends close by. When you work in this business, longevity is a huge part of one’s success and I am very fortunate to work under the ownership and management with which I do. Some of my favorite pastimes are enjoying whatever sports car or hot rod I happen to be driving and having lots of summer pool and BBQ days at my home.
I have been selling Acuras since 1988 and, more specifically, selling them at Devan Acura since the day the doors opened almost 20 years now. In my spare time, I “enjoy” the frustration of golf and fishing. In my time off I enjoy boating, swimming which my daughter Annie has now taken up and playing tennis with my wife Maria. I am very grateful for the hundreds of families I have come to know through my years here at Devan and I am now selling cars to customers kids who were babies when I start in the business – How time flies!
